On-the-go mini companion – HP Mini 311. It’s stylish and easy to use, and since it weighs just 3.26 lb2., it’s easy to carry around.

The HP Mini 311 ($399) is the first Ion-based netbook to hit the U.S. market. It has awesome ability to deliver high-def video playback, better gameplay, and faster video editing.

I love the shiny silver design of the keyboard – a near-full-size (92%) keyboard for comfortable typing, plus a full-size, intuitive touchpad with buttons at the bottom like on a regular laptop. It adds exquisiteness to the product. HP-Mini-311

Display and Audio is also never a problem to this one. It has 11.6-inch display on the 311 has a resolution of 1366 x 768 which makes better video viewing or web browsing. It also has Altec Lansing speakers for music in HD quality. This netbook, like usual, has a built-in VGA webcam for chatting with friends and family.

Apart from other netbooks in the market, this little monster netbook has a lot to offer, boasting other competing products of the same category. “This is another example [of] how good graphics can transform an entire category of products,” Jeff Fisher, senior vice president of the GPU business unit at Nvidia, said. “Where last month netbooks were considered inadequate, this month HP delivers an amazing product with support for HD movies, games, video editing, and more. Why couldn’t netbooks do this before? They lacked good graphics.”
